MVA Insurance and Establishing Care - Part 1

Motor Vehicle Accidents

Injuries from motor vehicle accidents can be wide ranging due to the number of factors involved affecting vehicle occupants. Studies have shown that speeds of even as low as 5 miles per hour are enough to cause soft tissue damage. The position a patient is in at the time of impact, if they were wearing a seat belt, the direction of the impact between the vehicles, vehicle speeds at the time of impact, pre-existing injuries, and whether or not patients see the accident coming and have braced for impact all affect the injuries sustained in an accident. The physicians at Holistic Family Medicine specialize in musculoskeletal injuries and have seen 1000s of motor vehicle accident injury patients, and can work to get you feeling better faster, with better long term results. These types of injuries should not be overlooked, if not properly diagnosed and treated scar tissue, accelerated wear and tear of joints, and permanent loss of functional mobility can result if not treated accordingly.
